The back reads "hunch back yei: Navajo fox." It is marked "Cortez, Colorado" and dated "July 1992. The artist's first name is "Holly" but the last name is difficult to make out "Watier?). The symbols and art originated as a Navajo healing ceremony. This is a lovely piece of authentic Southwestern decor.
