Finished on all sides with a subtle intentionally aged patina on the finish. Marked ‘National Mt. Airy’ to the interior of the top drawer. Mount Airy of North Carolina's roots go back to 1888 when the lumber and woodworking industry was booming. They had three large factories and quickly evolved into specialized furniture suites. They enjoyed a successful run until 1997 when a fire completely destroyed their facilities. less
