Miyajima Muhitsu / 宮島 無筆: Muhitsu was born in 1929 and started making kokeshi at the age of twenty.
Kichitaro Kobayashi (Yamagata) was his mentor in the traditional kokeshi kijishi style.
Later in the 1940s, Miyajima Muhitsu decided to transition to the creative Kokeshi form.
Muhitsu has won numerous awards, including the coveted Prime Minister's Prize in 1973. This piece has an attribution mark,
