Sturdy and well-constructed with no loose joints, the piece exudes age, character, and charm. Ideal for the right setting, it is free from woodworm, and the key unlocks the cupboard door only. The writing surface, later patinated leather, adds to its distinctive character, and the drawers slide smoothly.
