- his is a wonderful vase by two artists that were very good friends, one Elio Schiavon was a trained potter … more his is a wonderful vase by two artists that were very good friends, one Elio Schiavon was a trained potter and the other Gunter Erhart was a gifted artist. Together they made these whimsical vases that with the shape and painting design have a very singular originality. Schiavon did a very pedestrian line that doesn’t have the artistic value that this one has, when these two men collaborated it was very special and unique.This vase is in great condition with no chips or cracks and measures 10”H x 3 1/2”W. It is signed on the bottom S.K.K. Hand Gemalt. It dates to 1950-1959 and is made in Italy. less
