It comes from the "Saint Clément" earthenware factory in Lunéville in Lorraine, whose production of the middle of the 20th century is as surprising in the audacity of forms as in the use of bright and contrasting colors.

Vintage ceramics are in very good condition. A small radiance and small labels of enamel are visible on the edge. It is signed in hollow under the base.

In the wind of modernity that animates the 1950s and 60s, potters and ceramists are not outdone! They invent and reinvent the forms of terracotta objects, play on the composition of enamels to obtain new colors or textures. The Lorraine earthenware of Saint Clément is linked to that of Lunéville. In Lunéville is produced of fine, often usual and classic earthenware, services and patterns.
