Dirk van Sliedregt was the master of rattan chairs in the Netherlands in the 1950s/60s.
This model is very hard to find.
They are made of rattan and have a black metal structure. The chairs are quite large, which makes them nice eye-catchers.
As the chairs are form a different production year they have a few slight differences. One is a bit higher, the angled cross bars of the frame are a bit thicker and the backrest is woven slightly different.
The chairs are in very good original condition. One is excellent. The other has has a few minimal damages to the rattan (hardly visible). The metal frames are perfect. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
