This old statue was salvaged out of the Bel Air area from a home that was built by Mohamed Hadid … more This old statue was salvaged out of the Bel Air area from a home that was built by Mohamed Hadid father of Gigi and Bella Hadid. It was located in the back of the estate at the entrance to the secret Garden. This home was absolutely amazing. Featuring three stories that included a movie theater, a festive Moroccan room, and a ball room that would comfortably seat over 250+ Guest. This beautiful secret garden was next to the Olympic size swimming pool that overlooked it 280° view of Los Angeles/ Beverly Hills and surrounding areas. This statue was recently featured in a music video for J Lo called Dinero. This home was lavished with nothing but the best and the wonderful garden was a labyrinth of mazes which had a swan pond and absolutely breathtaking statues most of which were from Paris and France shipped in. I’m not sure where the statue was from but I can tell that it was very old. There is some slight damage to the statue but was there from the previous owner. I can tell there has been a slight repair at the base also the child’s arm is missing on the right and also some damage to the mouth of the fish. I can tell that this could also be used as a fountain because it is drilled through the fishes mouth. Something about the statue just has such a great character we’ve had several concrete fountains and statues in the past most of which were beautiful but the detail of the children were not as great as this one. The child’s face is detailed so beautifully and the way his hair is blowing in the wind while riding through the water simply amazing . Tried to include all detail in Photos.
