Description: Stunning set of 6 dining chairs in oak and rattan cane designed by Danish designer Børge Mogensen and manufactured at … more Stunning set of 6 dining chairs in oak and rattan cane designed by Danish designer Børge Mogensen and manufactured at P. Lauritsen & Søn. This set is from the very early production of this iconic chair. All chairs have been rewoven in accordance with the original technique and materials by a skilled cabinetmaker in Denmark. The BM61 chair was designed by Børge Mogensen in 1958, based on a minimal, yet extremely robust construction. The structured design is, however, enriched with outstanding comfort and carefully crafted details, such as its exposed finger joints and seat and back in cane wicker. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
