- This sweet little peccary is a Javelina and the is an angel. The funny little guy has a wing atop … more This sweet little peccary is a Javelina and the is an angel. The funny little guy has a wing atop his back. Birds are flying to and fro and he is surrounded by white, pink and green. The javelina himself was painted in brown, bronze and gold. If you look closely you will find all sorts of flora drawn and painted in him including barrel cactus, agave and prickly pear, along with random shapes and values. It is clear that this little fellow hails from the desert! This was all made by using many layers of acrylic paint and mixed media on a 24" square stretched canvas with the sides painted. He would make a wonderful companion to "Javelina Angel 2" because they were painted together. less
