This one-of-a-kind Impressionist River Landscape Oil Painting by collected artist Tuscon's William Hawkins is sure to please with its strong, moody colors and fabulous bold brush strokes. I love the way the meandering river ends up in a tree lined lake with beautiful, cumulus clouds on the horizon. It's truly amazing and beautiful the way his few broad brush strokes create such a detailed landscape scene from afar — a talent that continues to amaze me! The depth of colors (browns and greens lit up by blues and whites) chosen really create the mood of this painting, making it a standout on any wall. A small but mighty work of art from a living American artist.
