This set is signed by the artist, Muville, who was an artist at the decorating factory, Lazeyras, Rosenfeld & Lehman. Using a technique of both transfer and hand painting, they decorated porcelain blanks at the height of popularity for Limoges porcelain. These blanks came from the Limoges factory of Coiffe.
The set is in good condition, consistent with gentle handling of antique porcelain. There are no chips or cracks. There are some wear marks on the painted scenes of the plates, as seen in the photos.
The price includes the platter plus 10 plates. less
