Fantastic 19th century watercolor of a Clipper ship flying the Union Jack in waters off of Venice, Italy.
The watercolor measures 20" x 12.5". The frame measures 32" x 26".
The painting is not signed.
Chinese export paintings were often purchased by tourists on grand tours of Europe in the 19th century. This is a beautiful survivor.
The painting is in good condition and it shows minimal foxing.
