Offering a stunning Thayer Coggin scoop lounge chair designed by Milo Baughman that is incredibly comfortable and visually appealing. . It feels as if it literally hugs and comforts you when seated. Structural sound and solid hardwood honey walnut frame features geometric lines that are softened by cylindrical supports and hand-shaped tapered side supports with dado cut joinery. It is unique and visually interesting because the configuration features the floor stretchers across the front and back rather than the sides unlike most of the scoop chairs constructed during this time period. Expansive curved seat with thick tufted cushions is perfectly positioned for ultimate comfort. Upholstery has been sanitized and cleaned with a professional upholstery cleaner. The upholstery is in fantastic shape with NO rips, tears or stains. The wood frame is in great shape as well. Minor blemishes commensurate with age but nothing of any significance.
