Wood appears to be oak and is a warm color with a very subtle distressed finish. Shelves measure 10” deep and about 11.5” high with the top shelf being noticeably higher. The storage area has one shelf which is adjustable. This is a quality piece of American craftsmanship made in North Carolina.
