The iconic Polly Parrot corkscrew / bottle opener by Negbaur
Originally patented in 1929 by Manual Avillar and manufactured by Negbaur Co., this timeless Art Deco design remains a sought after collectible. This particular version, with much of the original paint intact, is especially coveted.
Both striking and practical, with this three-in-one tool you can open bottles with the beak, remove corks with a worm that folds away neatly in the tail, and crush ice with the heavy base.
Would be right at home in a vintage or tropical themed bar (looking at you, Parrotheads) or a fun touch in any home bar or kitchen. Also a great gift for the Art Deco or vintage corkscrew collector.
Stands 5” tall and bears the Negbaur stamp on one side of the base and the words U.S.A. Pat’d on the other.
