It is in very nice condition, showing some typical age-appropriate wear from normal use. I believe it was either French polished or refinished at some time. A timeless piece for your dining room, this classical Empire Acanthus carved clawfoot dining table exudes sophistication and timeless elegance. Hand crafted in the mid 1800s, it showcases a stunning classical Empire style with its elaborate carved details.
There are two pull out leaf supports beneath the folded leaf on each stand and one of those knobs is missing.
It is in very nice condition, showing some typical age-appropriate wear from normal use. I believe it was either French polished or refinished at some time.
I see a few veneer flakes around the lower edge of the skirt.
