Description: Louis XV Style Giltwood Fauteuil à La Reine. This chair is assumed to be antique with an estimated age of … more Louis XV Style Giltwood Fauteuil à La Reine. This chair is assumed to be antique with an estimated age of production being late 19th / early 20th century. Upholstered with Aubusson style tapestry depicting a French courting, or Watteau, scene. Probably reupholstered after original production. Heavy, solid construction, sprint seat cushion. The initials "AHA" are incised to the bottom of the chair. The chair is approximately 43" tall and 25" deep, with a width of 27". The seat is approximately 22" deep, and 27" wide. The seat height is approximately 17".
