.This is a cut crystal inkwell with two ink spaces and a Cartwheel Penny dated 1797 in one lid. The back of the lids/rings is marked Abarrat & Sons 63 64 Picadilly.
The inkwell measures 6.00 inches wide by 300 inches deep. The crystal is 1 3/8 inches tall and it’s overall height is 2.00 inches. Weight is two pounds, six ounces.
The crystal is slightly darker than it likely was originally. The lids are attached and silver plated. There is a groove on the top down each side and across the front.
The crystal has no chips, cracks, or other damage, although the bottom is scuffed and scratched.
