Set of 4 vintage Biedermeier style side chairs. Elegant shape and lines with fan shaped top rail, interlaced mid rail, and sabre form legs. Appears to be solid cherry wood construction with the exception of the interlaced mid rails, which may be veneered. Unsigned. The chairs have spring seats with relatively new upholstery. The chairs are very sturdy with an attractive patina to the wood. Each chair is approximately 33" tall and 18" deep, with a width of 21". The seat is approximately 17" deep, and 21" wide. The seat height is approximately 19".
All of the chairs are in very good condition with age appropriate wear. There are minor surface scratches and nicks to the wood, more so in the legs. The upholstery has light surface dirt and stains which would easily clean out.
Notes: We have three additional chairs available for sale. All seven eight of the chairs are in similar condition, however, one of the additional chairs that has a 2 inch patinated scratch in the seat back (not shown in the photos).
