1910's table from the Art Deco period encompassing Machine Age, Streamline and Style Moderne. It features tubular chrome legs with a black painted composition top. It has 2 chrome side bars on each end of top surface and has two drawers with off-white demi lune bakelite handles; one has a chrome band on it. One drawer has a glass window with the word "Sterilize" and a cross painted on it. The body and drawers are made of wood and this table shows patina from age and use. One chip on the wood near drawer and normal wear on the top surface showing use and patina. The chrome shows patina from age and overall this table is fantastic! It was made in the USA 100 years ago during the burgeoning periods of the Decorative Arts; Arts Decoratif in France in the 1910's. The designs from this period became most popular when displayed in the Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industiels Modernes held in Paris in 1925.
This table is great to look at with nothing on it and will make a great writing table, a small desk, vanity, barber table, manicurist table, chef table, catchall table and more.
Very charming and solid construction with plenty of surface patina.
