Inspired by sweet childhood memories, candy by studio berg is a new series of glass objects designed to bring the joy of the candy shop into the living space. Candy canes, lollipops and more remind us of objects’ ability to transport us across time and space, and the potential of common shared experiences to connect us to one another. The series consists of these side tables, larger sofa tables and mirrors and is handmade by torsten rötzsch, with great support by korbinian stöckle and rasit rejwan toplu at glasturm gernheim in germany.
candy was launched at the exhibition “ich und du" by the collective matter of course during milan design week 2022 in 5vie, via cesare correnti 14.
the yellow sofa tables come with two differnet tops - striped or unicolor. less
