Description: A stunning vintage Korean (in the Japanese style) large elm (keyaki) tansu chest with original cast brass hardware. The hardware … more A stunning vintage Korean (in the Japanese style) large elm (keyaki) tansu chest with original cast brass hardware. The hardware and linen chest pine sliding drawers show a European influence indicating that this cabinet may have been created for a European market or for export. Fourteen drawers offers a stunning amount of storage. The graining in the elm wood and the original finish is just beautiful. Disassembles into four pieces: frame base and three stacking cabinet portions. Retracting handles in the top of each cabinet portion enable easy disassembly, movement, and interlock with the cabinet portion above for stability when the cabinet is assembled.

Bottom cabinet: 18" high
Middle cabinet: 24" high
Top cabinet: 26.5" high
