Beautiful mid-century still life with fruit and wine bottle signed Tonar 1959. It is on canvas panel and in wonderful vintage condition overall. However, the original frame could use rehabbing. We leave that up to the buyer to leave as is, restore, or replace. Please see photos. Circa 1959.
The colors are bold, bright and beautiful in this mid-century impressionist still life. Its image of fruit, bowl, and wine bottle are classic yet modern in form and coloration. It is signed Tonar and dated 1959 on the front lower left corner. The original owner told us the artist’s first name was Lee but that was all they could tell us. Extensive online research has not gotten us any additional information. But, no matter. This piece is very nicely done and will add a touch of beauty to any wall it adorns. Make it yours.
