- Beautiful pair of handblown Murano glass lamps filled with 24k gold leaf flecking known as aventurine. The tops of the … more Beautiful pair of handblown Murano glass lamps filled with 24k gold leaf flecking known as aventurine. The tops of the glass portions have a fused, draped, and scalloped design all hand blown and formed. The flowers are tole that are either painted, enameled, or a lacquered tinplate used to make decorative objects. The flowers and leaves on these lamps have a great patina while maintaining a gilt sheen to them. The original "Made in Italy" foil sticker remains on one lamp. The lamps are mounted on round tole bases with heavier 4 legged tole second bases giving them a raised effect. These lamps have been professionally wired and cleaned, some natural markings remain on the top interiors where the flowers originate. There are natural bubble inclusions and exterior texture in places that occur during the blowing process. less
