Known for its “Kirei-sabi” aesthetic, pioneered by tea master Kobori Enshu in the 17th century, Takatori ware has a history that spans over 400 years. The pottery's delicate and refined designs have made it highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike.
This shoulder-type tea caddy has a wonderful front-face with a waterfall-like glaze flow. It has been lovingly repaired with gold joinery (kintsugi). less
