A serigraph from the Cinetization X series by Belgian artist Pol Bury (1922-2005). Published in 1966 by Lefebre Gallery in New York, Cinetization X included ten serigraph images by Bury depicting famous landmarks and city scenes. This particular print is numbered “7/62” and is signed along the bottom edge and depicts a city street twisting and turning as it separates into primary colors. The print is unframed.
Pol Bury began his artistic career as a member of the art groups Jeune Peintre Belge and COBRA. He studied in France alongside great artists like Rene Magritte and Alexander Calder.
