ITEM DESCRIPTION:
A treasure worthy of pursuit, this marvelous plant holder is made of cherry wood. Has a slatted top on a pedestal, cabriole tripod base. Abundant acanthus leaf carvings on base. Mortise and tenon construction. Original patina. Made in Italy. It can accommodate a plant holder with a 10” base. Is often used for fern or palm leaf plants. In excellent condition with period wear and patina, consistent with age and use but no serious damage or repairs.
