A fancy but fitting name for this beautifully carved cupboard. … more Magnificent antique 19th century English oak gothic Buffet Deux Corps. A fancy but fitting name for this beautifully carved cupboard. The name is French, but simply put means a cupboard in two parts. The upper section has two carved door cabinets, each with two interior adjustable shelves. The focus of the top is the center door with its beveled glass panels, also concealing a two shelf interior. The lower section has two carved dovetailed drawers over a double carved door cabinet with single interior shelf. Given its age the overall condition is excellent. The top doors do have working locks as well. At one point there were finials at the very top which were lost over the years. less
