When demand for utilitarian ware waned, many potteries introduced their art line. Artificially coloring the clay and turning it on the potter's wheel made pieces with a marbleized or swirled appearance. This vase retains no label or markings. Other known makers in the Ozarks were Niloak, Camark and Ouachita pottery. See less
