The mid-century vintage model ds-31 is a highly sought-after and very rare design classic, especially in this version offered by us as a 4-seater sofa and with a chrome-plated sled base from the 1st generation of the 1967-1969s. It was designed by the renowned swiss leather manufacturer and luxury brand de sede and is currently available again as a re-edition.
* this vintage ds 31 lounge sofa comes in timeless black, elegant and dramatic.
* craftsmanship, top quality and leather expertise combine to create a timelessly beautiful model.
* unmistakable features of the ds-31 sofa are the hand-stitched strap seams that are artfully attached to the cushions and
the shape of the armrest, which is reminiscent of a twisted musical note. All these features make this model an unmistakable, charismatic and timelessly modern design classic.
* the leather is non-slip, supple and soft.
* the seat height is 39.5 cm.
condition
the sofa is in more than good, very beautiful and very well maintained vintage condition, with beautiful patina of the leather.
* we have treated the good piece conscientiously, thoroughly and professionally with high-quality cleaning and care products, which are also recommended by de sede.
this means that the couch is immediately ready for use and can be used again for a long time without any maintenance.
* there are no serious visual or functional defects such as cracks in the leather or other defects.
* however, there are of course acceptable and usual traces on the leather such as superficial scratches, very few, very small stains, edge bumps and occasional light abrasion on the edges (photo above) as well as light color abrasion and light-related color unevenness on the leather.
* all in all, the sofa is in above-average, more than good condition.
* the upholstery is still in very good condition, firm and not worn through.
