Here's a wonderful example of an early Worcester dish in Mansfield pattern. Made approximately 1760, this 260+ year old piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
The dish has a cylindral shaped body. It is decorated with a vibrant blue glazed floral motif. The inside rim is decorated with garland and inverted pineapple.
Royal Worcester is located in Worcester, England. Established in 1751, it is one of the oldest of the still-functioning porcelain manufacturers. This piece, from the first period, known as Dr Wall period, when it was known simply as Worcester. less
