Although the Baccarat factory has been in production since 1765, wares weren't marked until well into the 19th century. The molded mark as seen on this lamp was in use by the late 1870s. Traditional 1920s it was supplanted by the etched logo of a decanter and two drinking glasses, which was later replaced by the familiar script mark.
