- This marvelous Royal Doulton figurine is entitled "Hornpipe" and depicts a jaunty British Navy sailor dancing the hornpipe, This beautiful … more This marvelous Royal Doulton figurine is entitled "Hornpipe" and depicts a jaunty British Navy sailor dancing the hornpipe, This beautiful figure is created in gorgeous porcelain and was hand painted by the artist M. Nichol with HN 2161 in production from 1955-1962. Backstamp reads: "The Hornpipe, HN 2161, CORP 1954, Royal Doulton stamp with lion on a crown, Made in England, artist mark 4 and other RN numbers. See photo for complete backstamp markings. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom=9-1/4 inches, Width at widest=3-3/4 inches. This marvelous Royal Doulton Hornpipe figurine has been well cared for, gently displayed and is in excellent vintage condition, free from chips, cracks, crazing or other imperfections.
