A very good looking well made and comfortable directors chair, I've not seen one with a solid oak frame like this before, the seat platform is a traditional sprung base so very comfortable. It has been fully restored as mentioned, the leather has been stripped back, hand dyed six times, antiqued and sealed, the finish is this lovely cigar brown colour. The timber has been cleaned waxed and polished, this is gallery ready. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
