The armchair has what's called a floating button cushion, this is a flat swab cushion that's feather filled, the idea being you aren't sitting to low to the ground and you have an extra level of comfort, its fully upholstered so double sided, if the worst were to happen and you damaged one side you could simply flip it over, the floating button design is a nod to Thomas Chippendale who was the first to use this method on his seats Condition wise the piece is fully restored as mentioned, it has had the old upholstery professionally removed, the chair has then been upholstered with this luxury Cognac tan brown coloured Scottish heritage hide leather that is super soft and subtle If the new owner wishes, I can have the armchair antiqued which will bring out the tufting, it can also be fully hand dyed and will come out a wonderful cigar brown colour, I have left it as it is as the colour is sublime and it looks very elegant Dimensions Height:- 83.5cm Width:- 79cm Depth:- 96cm Seat height:- 39.5cm less
