We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely antique Arts & Crafts Victorian metamorphic library steps chair in oak … more We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely antique Arts & Crafts Victorian metamorphic library steps chair in oak with William Morris Rug steps A very charming and highly collectable piece, designed as an at home library steps and reading chair, these are used to add a sense of grand occasion to a standard bookcase I don't come across many that have the Arts & Crafts style carving to the back and none have William Morris Rug upholstery to the steps The finish is original, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it, there will be age and use related patina marks here and there Chair dimensions Height:- 87cm Width:- 43cm Depth:- 43.5cm Steps dimensions Height:- 87cm Width:- 43cm Depth:- 59cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest poinr.
