Description: This chair is really quite exquisite, it’s one of the earliest types of swivel chairs I have ever seen, the … more This chair is really quite exquisite, it’s one of the earliest types of swivel chairs I have ever seen, the frame is solid oak, the leather lovely thick English hide, the base swivels and it has solid brass castors. The chair was fully restored a few years ago to include having the leather washed back, it’s then been hand dyed six times, antiqued and sealed, the oak frame has been stripped back and French polished from the ground up. Recently we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it, there will be normal age and use related patina as you would expect Dimensions Height:-91.5cm Width:- 68.5cm Depth:- 79cm Seat height:- 47cm This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
