We purchased this lithograph from a Parisian bookseller. It is a RARE find as this image is found as a reproduction from antique print dealers. The illustration is signed in lower right corner by the artist, Philippe Jacques Linder. The image showcases a young woman sitting on a park bench reading a book. She is dressed in period dress and poses, reflects, or ponders in thought. There is a wonderful rich textural quality to the print. Note the impressionistic style in the garden florals and note the rich luxurious fabrics of her dress, blouse and shawl. This is a beauty! It is in clean and pristine condition.
