Pagoda largely constructed of scorched natural split reed bamboo fastened by pin sized nails and metal ribbon over wood. Brass toned metal tiles in the ape of peaked finger-like wings mark the tips of each of the four corners of the 7 tiers. Each roof gradually gets smaller starting with the largest at the first floor and concludes with a gilt wood finial at its pinnacle.

The first level at the bottom has an ample 7.5" wide x 10" deep x 2" tall burgundy felt lined keepsake drawer that is large enough to accommodate a notepad and pen set.

Each floor has a wood floorboard which makes the tower an incredibly well constructed 6 room Pagoda with 6 arched doorways - could be great for candle votives.

Note: the Pagoda is missing one of the decorative finials on the front left corner of the first floor, and has a slight crack in the top of the base at the back left corner causing it to lean slightly. This would be an easy repair from underneath the base to provide an additional support block. The feet on the base however are structurally sound.

This pagoda has magical qualities that one would expect to find in the fanciful world of a Tony Duquette designed space. less
