This late 19th century ewer/claret jug has an oily, iridescent finish with veined threading. Made by Austrian company Palleme-Konig Glassworks, this piece will display nicely where sunlight can compliment it's unusual beauty.
The glass and veining is in excellent condition, with some air bubbles in the glass - typical of Austrian art glass from this period. The lid is intact but a bit wobbly at the hinge. The handle appears to have had a solder repair, as seen in one of the photos. less
