The forms are elegant yet simple and look great in contemporary as well as traditional interiors. The drawer is the perfect place to keep a remote control out of sight but close at hand. They can be finished in any way you choose from a clear lacquer to paint or stain or an intricate combination of several finishes. Among the photos, you'll see a specialty finish I used so that the table could hold it's own with period Vintage chairs. The finish is red mahogany (French polished) with ebony columns and trim and gold leaf accents but you'll also see a natural finished pair used as end tables with a contemporary sofa. less
