This unique artwork captures the beauty of a winter landscape in 1966, created by the renowned photographer Ernst Hass. Haas was an influential photographer most recognized for his innovations in color photography as well as his use of abstract light. He experimented with abstraction, blurred motion, and, most notably, vivid colors at a time when black-and-white was the universal norm.
The piece is a one-of-a-kind, hand-tinted first edition photograph, printed using the triage dye transfer production technique. The image features vibrant colors and a beautiful landscape, making it a must-have for any art enthusiast's collection. The artwork is signed by the photographer himself in lower right corner and comes with original labeling by Christie's from auction in 2014. It is professionally framed and ready to be displayed. In excellent condition.
