This is a rare find of original mid 18th century table. Traditional tenon and mortise joinery. This late 18th century console table features classical recessed waist and simple carved apron and graceful legs. Both structure and color of reddish brown are original. Only protective clear finish is applied to it. In overall excellent condition, this antique Chinese table is not just a well constructed table with over 200 years history, but also can function as an imposing Asian console table in a living room, dining room, hall way or entryway.
