The bird and flower are typical of the region, as are the colors, green, blue and brown - made from natural tints native to the area.

By itself it makes a lovely water cup for a bathroom or nightstand, yet is just as practical for holding pencils on a desk, paint-brushes in a studio, as a planter for a small succulent, or for displaying among a collection of Mexican ceramics.

It measures 2.25" in diameter on the bottom, 3.25" in diameter along the top rim, and is 3" in height, and is marked "Mexico - K. E." on the bottom.
