The head has become beautifully weathered over the years and has a nice patina. This is an unfinished specimen. It came from a large collection of a Dutchman who bought it in the 1970s from an artist in France. This artist's studio was full of wooden heads, busts and statues. Some religious and some not. These statues were most likely made from around 1900 to about the 50s a 60s. A cool object to decorate your living or working space. less
