Inspired by the 17th century and driven by the desire to give the Delft Blue that Royal Delft has created since the 17th century a contemporary look & feel, Royal Delft presents: Proud Mary. Proud Mary is composed of four seperate elements, the skirt, body, the collar and the head. These larger Mary’s are handpainted by craftsmen at Royal Delft. A polychrome decoration makes this Proud Mary stand out from the crowd, even more thanks to her goldplated head. Royal Delft creates a world of high-quality Delft Blue and inspires with centuries-old craftsmanship and innovation. The Dutch Design brand is world-famous and known for its outstanding quality, iconic objects and stylish decorations. Royal Delft's original hand-painted Delft Blue has been loved since the 17th century. Each Royal Delft figurine comes with a certificate of authenticity and is marked with the painters mark. It consists of - A jar - The inititials JT - The city of Delft - Below the left the painter's initials are painted and on the right a year code.
