his ability to blend creative imagination with innovative technical solutions and to adapt to situations rather than to ever give up, led to the creation of furniture and accessory designs that will bear the imprint of his talent long into the future.
one example being his u-turn chair, designed for roche bobois. The base of the u-turn chair seems to stop abruptly to allow the movement of the rotating seat, a clever and well designed feature to the simple dining chair. Beautifully paired with a sole anthracite grey fabric and a black lacquer base.
