This is a very large and impressive antique Japanese Imari plate.

ALL hand painted in polychrome enamel, in blue cobalt,red , green and gold gilding.

Decorated with flowers, plants and birds.

A central medallion nicely decorated with bird and flowers.

With blue and red symbols ( drawings ) at the back, as pictured ( see photo ).

Together with a wooden support, original label ( late period ).

The gold gilding highlights decoration, gives more elegance and luxury to the work.
