The handle is riveted to the pot in beautiful form. The handle is sample 301. This piece would need to be refurbished if you wanted to cook with it. I purchased it as an accessory piece in my kitchen. It looks beautiful hanging from a rack with other copper pieces or just sitting on top of your stove or on a shelf. You could even put a plant in it. This is a very old piece and will add beauty to any collection. See less
